SM900x2000 NC Roller Grooving Machine is our patented product, it is widely used in the process of mangles rollers.
Mangles are used in natural rubber factories to crush and clean rubber. The efficiency of a mangle is dependent on the depth and sharpness of the roller’s grooves. Therefore the rollers should be routinely regrooved by grooving machines.
This machine is specially designed for lathing and automatic grooving of the mangle’s rollers used in nature rubber processing factory. It is robust and easy to use no special qualifications are required for the operator. Any new user can master it in just a few hours. It will relieve the operator from tedious hard work and so improve productivity. One person can easily operate 2 or 3 machines at the same time.
So far, most grooving machines available are modified from normal lathe machines. These machines are bulky and difficult to use. The operator has to change a lot of gears in the assembly driving system by hand just for the purpose of switching or grooving or even simply changing the direction of grooving. Using this machine to cut grooves is an extremely tedious and laborious job, as the operator would have to perform the same set of actions hundreds of times repeatedly on a daily basis. This may result in boredom and fatigue for the operator so as to affect the efficiency.
Our automatic grooving machine will make thing different for the operator. By using just three handles on the machine an NC controller, he can easily change a lathing job into a grooving job or vice versa. Cutting of grooves will be so much easier, just by pushing a few buttons on the NC controller, which will in turn ensure that the machine complete the grooving jobs automatically within a few hours. During this time, the operator can be deployed to other skilled operations, In addition, this machine uses cutting tools in the same manner as the conventional grooving machines, which therefore looks familiar to most trained operators, who can certainly learn to use it within a very short time. The machine not only relieves operator boredom, but also increases operator efficiency and productivity, which contributes to your company’s bottom-line.
There are a few automatic grooving machines in the market currently. Most of them are very expensive and are controlled by complex CNC systems which are not only difficult to learn, but also have very high maintenance cost. Our design is based on mechanical automation principle, and most of the job is handled by two specially designed gear boxes. With the help of the changing handle, only one normal AC motor can do either the lathing job or grooving job, which makes the machine more solid, compact and reliable. Almost all working parts are visible to unaided eyes, making maintenance easy at low cost. We also designed a special NC controller to replace the complex CNC system, which has been extensively field tested with over 10 years of proven reliability.
